Telehealth

Telehealth visits are available as scheduled appointments with primary care doctors and specialists. All you need is a computer, tablet or smartphone that has a camera.

If you don't have a doctor, find one who is right for you.

Telehealth on-demand care

Telehealth connects you to your doctor virtually and can be a scheduled appointment, while on-demand care is for times when you need care quickly and can't wait for an in-person or telehealth appointment. For on-demand care, try a video visit.

Telehealth Instructions

When you call to set up an appointment, our staff will determine if you are a candidate for a telehealth visit. If so, you will receive a message through MU Health Care’s HealthConnect portal or email. It will let you know the date and time of your appointment, and it will include the link you need to connect with your doctor. Please join the visit 5-10 minutes prior to your scheduled appointment time.

When your visit begins, a nurse or resident doctor will greet you and gather information, just like a clinic visit. Then your doctor will take over and complete the process. The cost to you is the same as a clinic visit.
