COVID-19 Vaccines in Pregnancy: Pilot Research Study

Very little is known about the impact of the COVID-19 vaccines on pregnant women. We are doing this study to learn about the immune response of pregnant women who receive the COVID-19 vaccine.

Participation in this study will not guarantee your ability to receive the COVID-19 vaccine at the current time. Importantly, the COVID-19 vaccine will not be provided as part of the study.

Who we need

  • Pregnant women who plan to receive the COVID-19 vaccine
  • Women age 18-50 years
  • English-speaking participants

What we are asking of you

  • Blood samples from mother
  • Up to seven samples will be collected over the course of 12-13 months

Compensation

You will receive $20 for each blood draw. The total amount that you could receive is $160.

Risks

There is a small risk of discomfort associated with blood draws. No additional risks are anticipated.
