About

Sébastien Lalonde, MD, is a board-certified orthopaedic surgeon with expertise in treating simple and complex problems of the hand and upper extremity at the Missouri Orthopaedic Institute. He helps patients treat and manage conditions including arthritis pain and stiffness, ligament and tendon issues, deformities and tumors, nerve compression syndromes like carpal and cubital tunnel, and bone fractures or trauma in the forearm, wrist and hand.

The patient is at the center of Dr. Lalonde’s decision-making, and he takes into account their background, values and goals during assessment and treatment to help each patient achieve what success means to them.

Music is Dr. Lalonde’s passion outside of medicine, though he has moved from playing instruments to editing and mixing tracks. He enjoys cooking and baking, particularly his excellent Montreal bagels, and cheering on the Missouri Tigers with his wife and two sons.
