About

Rony Marwan, MD, is a board-certified pediatric surgeon and critical care specialist with a national reputation in fetal and neonatal surgery. Dr. Marwan has been an active member of several American pediatric surgery associations and recently served as the chair of the Fetal Diagnosis and Therapy Committee of the American Pediatric Surgery Association.

Dr. Marwan’s clinical interests include treating pre- and post-natal congenital malformations. He also handles the more common surgical problems for kids, such as removing the appendix, repairing hernias and draining abscesses. His goal is to provide parents and their yet-to-be-born babies with support, compassion, comprehensive counseling and the best possible outcomes. Before surgery, he takes pride in providing families with comfort and security to calm their fears at a difficult time.

He enjoys being outdoors, from the mountains to the oceans — he enjoys hiking and is a professional scuba diving instructor — as well as spending time with his wife and three children.
